Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama supports fully the paid plastic bag regulation. Responding about the plastic bag price, his side will obey the decided regulation.

Basuki appealed Jakarta residents to minimize the use of plastic bag for the sake of environment cleanliness.

15 percent out of total trash in Jakarta by 6,500 ton come from plastic garbage. Governor Regulation of Bylaw will be issued to support this regulation.
